4. How to install Snapshop demo content?

Provided information in this section covers the Snapshop template demo content installation

Installing demo content on Snapshop template is simple as one click. Few steps need to be done before you can do this. You need to install and activate the plugins used by template demo and to decide which demo template you want to use. All elements and pages are available on all demos, only layout changes and the theme options are set to the desired layout. When installing demo for the first time make sure to read the section ahead.

4.1 Installing demo for the first time

When installing demo for the first time you need to get all the pages/posts/products and the images needed for the demo isntallation. In the Snapshop Options > Demo > One Click Demo Installation you can find the tools for installing the demo content. In order to install full demo content, including pages/posts/products and all images used in the demo, please check the all checkboxes Install Theme Options , Install Pages, Posts and Products and Download Images. Now click the Install Demo button bellow the demo you want to install. Because you're installing it for the first time and images need to be downloaded and set, also pages/posts/products need to be inserted in your database, this process might take a while depending on your server connection. Once the images are downloaded and the demo is installed you'll be noted about this and the page will refresh. If everything went well you'll receive a notification that the demo has been successfully installed and you can continue to your site to check the results. If problems occurred, and the most common problems are with servers that cannot download images used in the demo, you'll be noted about this. In this case you can contact us on our support forum and we'll help you out. If you wish to proceed with the demo without downloading the images please uncheck the Install Pages Posts and Products and the Download Images and proceed only with the Install Theme Options. This way you won't install pages/posts/products and images and you'll only get the desired demo layout.

4.2 Changing demo theme

Once you've installed the demo content, meaning that you've done the full demo installation process with downloading all the images used in the demo content and installing pages/posts/products, you might want to change your theme options to the different demo. When Ajax Load checkbox is checked with the Show Pagination option then the AJAX calls will be used to get new posts. In this case the pagination will take the left/right arrow form. If Ajax Load is unchecked new page will load on each pagination click. Pagination will then take the pages form. The first option is useful when creating pages and the second one can be useful when creating custom archive pages. You can disable the pagination in whole by unchecking the Show Pagination checkbox.
